Run it

pip install rapid-mlx==0.16.6
rapid-mlx serve qwen-image-2.1-turbo

Send a text prompt to POST /v1/images/generations. The model accepts its published eight steps and no guidance; unsupported step or guidance values return HTTP 400. It does not edit input images. For generation and editing on an 8 GB Mac, use qwen-image-2.1.
